Dataset for the publication "Noise Reduction and Quantification of Fiber Orientations in Greyscale Images"

Here we are providing the data for the paper "Noise Reduction and Quantification of Fiber Orientations in Greyscale Images". The dataset includes artificial fiber images (MC_images), that were created using a Monte-Carlo method with a predefined angular orientation distribution (metadata in Info_MC_Images.csv) as well as ten SHG images that were recorded in-vivo.For further information please take a look into the referenced paper.
