The large space buildings have some characteristics as high population density and heat flux, and simulation was usually applied to reduce the energy consumption and get better ventilation. In the paper, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and state space method are cooperatively used in the design of large space building to improve the environmental design. The paper firstly proposed the cooperative procedures and methods used in building simulation. The method are then introduced with the actual simulation process and results. Several building space models are built to simulate the load and air distribution. The analysis results illuminate that the simulation had active influence for actual design.
