Gene expression changes in the turkey hen vagina in response to artificial insemination across the lying cycle

These samples were taken from the vaginal tissue of breeder turkey hens receiving no insemination (virgin), extender only artificial insemination (sham), and semen artificial insemination (semen). Samples were taken at early, peak, and end of lay timepoints. The goal of this study is to understand how vaginal gene expression changes with insemination treatment and timing in the laying cycle.
