The main types of vegetation by territory in Brittany

The National Botanical Conservatory of Brest published in 2021 a map of the main types of vegetation. Thus, the flora observations of the botanist network are grouped into three interlocking groups, from the most synthetic to the most detailed: "Soil cover" (3 classes including "natural and semi-natural" vegetation), "Vegetation physionomy" (14 classes including "hedge and slope" vegetation) and "Large vegetation types" (27 classes of which several classes define "wetlands", "land and peatlands" or "forest").
