Pseudomonas sp. KSR10 Genome sequencing and assembly. Pseudomonas sp. KSR10

Strain KSR10 was isolated from rhizospheric soil associated with the rhizosphere of caroxylon sp. growing on a arid heap of the Algerian Sahara (Kenadsa District, Bechar Province, Algeria). Phylogenetic analyses based on the separate 16S rRNA gene sequences and concatenated 16S rRNA, gyrB and rpoD gene sequences indicated that strain KSR10 belongs to the genus Pseudomonas in the class Gammaproteobacteria. The most closely related species is Pseudomonas xanthomarina, whose type strain (DSM 18231) showed gene sequence similarities of 99.18% for 16S rRNA, 83.93% for gyrB and 91.87% for rpoD with strain KSR10.
