Ruminant gut microbes Raw sequence reads

Feces microbiome of yak and cattle calves grazing on the same pasture during 1 - 9 weeks after birth were studied using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Additionally, samples from the maternal ruminal fluid, feces, oral cavity, and breast skin swabs of their dams at week 1 were included to evaluate possible sources of the calf feces microbiota.
