资源简介:
This document contains simulation results of the preprint article titled "Impact of 2019 Mw 5.8 Marmara Sea Earthquake on the Seismic Cycle of Locked North Anatolian Fault Segment" to GRL.
QD and QS-FD denote the simulation strategies quasi-dynamic and quasi-static&full-dynamic
Inside each of these folders (strategies), there are four folders corresponds to the different state laws (Dieterich, 1979; Ruina, 1983; Perrin et al., 1995; Nagata et al., 2012). In the study, we assume the shear stress of the firctional interface obeys rate-and-state friction.
Inside the folders defining state laws two folders appear. They denote which fault analogy do they belong (SET1 and SET2). For explanation see the manuscript.
In each foder, the natural runs (untriggered simulations) begin with "unperturbed". The folders whose names begin with "triggered" correspond to results of earthquake triggering.
H. Dieterich, “Modeling of rock friction 1.
