Fine scale description of hybrid classes in a hybrid swarm

To understand how gene flow can occur between species, it is necessary to determine the types of mating events that occur between them. We used ddRADseq to study the genotypic composition of a hybrid swarm of Geum rivale, Geum urbanum, and products of their matings. Sampled individuals that appeared be members of the parental species, F1 hybrids, and back-crosses from F1's to G. rivale, based upon morphology. We used ddRAD to genotype these individuals and determine the types of matings that likely produce each sample.
