Effects of pterostilbene on endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition in human primary pulmonary arterial endothelial cells

Pterostilbene is a stilbene compound originally isolated from the deciduous tree Pterocarpus marsupium native to India, which has a broad range of biological activities, including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, and anti-tumor effects. Here we investigated the effects of pterostilbene on the endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT) response induced in human primary pulmonary arterial endothelial cells in vitro.紫檀芪（Pterostilbene）是一种芪类化合物，最初分离自原产于印度的落叶乔木Pterocarpus marsupium，其具有广泛的生物学活性，包括抗氧化、抗炎、降血糖、降血脂及抗肿瘤作用。本研究探讨了紫檀芪对体外在人原代肺动脉内皮细胞中诱导的内皮-间质转化（Endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition，EndMT）应答的影响。
