Bernard, Pandrin and Bertoldi dataset.DEMs and bedload transport activity map from laboratory experiments performed at the University of Trento This dataset contains both DEMs and bedload transport activity maps resulting from the laboratory flume experiments performed at the University of Trento (Italy) by Thomas Bernard, Enrico Pandrin and Walter Bertoldi.The dataset contains the following folders and files:⦁ DEMs: this folder contains the topographic surveys of the q05 experiment (Q=0.5 l/s) completing the dataset of (Capito et al. 2024) as ASCII grids. There are 10 DEMs taken at equal timesteps (Exner timescale). The DEMs are presented after a detrending process, so for each DEM the initial slope is subtracted and elevation values are presented normalized by the mean elevation.⦁ Bedload_transport_maps: this folder contains the bedload transport activity maps with different of saturation intensity values. Each file is a .npy (numpy) 3D stack in which axis 0 is the number of maps, axis 1 the number of rows and axis 2 the number of columns. File names of the form 'discharge_r_number.npy' refer to short run experiments while 'discharge_rgm.npy' files refer to long run experiments (5 exner time interval).
