Genomic DNA of BHO (Bacterium of Hyalesthes Obsoletus) was isolated from an insect vector of yellows disease in grapevine - the planthopper Hyalesthes obsoletus (Hemiptera: Cixiidae). This bacterium can settle in phytoplasma's infected grapevine and reduce the yellows disease symptoms.
