This dataset is the 1:100,000 spatial distribution data of boundary-delineated forest vegetation types classified through remote sensing imagery in Hubei Province from 2013 to 2017. It is derived from the China Forest Vegetation Survey Project of the Research Institute of Forest Resources Information Techniques, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The project was developed based on partial historical vegetation distribution maps, forest distribution maps, 2012 TM data, 1990s TM data, field plot survey data and other relevant materials, and was strictly processed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the *Specification for Forest Vegetation Classification, Investigation and Mapping* (2019). This is vector data containing attribute fields such as forest subgroup, forest order, forest series group and others. The data has a scale of 1:100,000. This dataset provides data support and services for forest resource inventory, planning and design, and other related applications.
