This thesis examines the ecological and evolutionary effects of pharmaceutical pollutants on wildlife, in combination with stressors such as temperature and infectious disease. It demonstrates that exposure to fluoxetine, a common antidepressant pollutant, can alter reproductive traits of wildlife in a temperature-dependent manner, shift the nature of host-parasite interactions and influence the spread of disease in a population.
