Replication Package: Modelling Higher Education as a Socio-Economic Complex System

This deposit contains the replication package for the manuscript submitted to Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science titled “Modelling Higher Education as a Socio-Economic Complex System.” It includes: An anonymised, derived, analysis-ready dataset (analysis_ready.parquet/.csv) containing the features and outcomes required to reproduce the main analyses and figures reported in the manuscript. Reproducible code to (i) generate the public replication dataset from derived artefacts, (ii) re-run the models, and (iii) regenerate the figures (nonlinearity plot, macro-overlay time series, and phase-portrait visualisation). Documentation: a data dictionary, a privacy note describing the anonymisation steps, and a reproduction guide with exact commands. Privacy and access statement. Raw administrative student records are not included due to privacy and institutional constraints. The released dataset is pseudonymised and coarsened (e.g., binned variables and small-cell risk controls) to reduce re-identification risk while preserving replicability of the reported results.
