Soil fertility and leaf traits drive insect herbivory variation across a tropical grassland-savanna-forest gradient
Understanding the interplay between plant functional traits and abiotic factors in shaping observed differences in herbivory across broad environmental gradients remains a central challenge in plant c

Chlorella a genus of microalgae has gained attention as a biofertilizer due to its beneficial effects on Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria. This study evaluates the biostimulant effect of Chlorella liquid biofertilizer on Coriandrum sativum by analyzing microbial diversity in treated soil. Genomic DNA from soil samples is analyzed through 16S rRNA sequencing to assess microbial composition. The analysis reveals Acinetobacter rhizosphaerae and Pseudomonas fragi as dominant species with Acinetobacter rhizosphaerae comprising 25 percent of the total abundance and promoting plant growth. Other species like Brevundimonas vesicularis and Lysobacter brunescens are also identified highlighting the biofertilizers impact on soil microbial diversity.
