The Quality of Care study – Family Planning study was conducted between November 2016 and February 2017 in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The study was aimed to assess the Quality of FP services provided in public health facilities in these states. Areas of inquiry included facility readiness to provide FP services, adherence to clinical protocols by providers, knowledge, skills, and attitude of providers and women’s perspectives on FP quality of care. In Uttar Pradesh, a total of 120 facilities were sampled from the state. Three categories of providers were sampled in each facility – a) providers providing sterilization services, b) providers providing IUCD/PPIUCD services and c) FP counselors. The current dataset belongs to the exit interviews of women who had received FP counseling at the sampled facilities.
