Beta Project: Boulder demographic and injury pattern in Brazilian Rock climbers
收藏资源简介:
This dynamic cohort study follows professional and recreational athletes participating in indoor bouldering to investigate demographic characteristics and injury patterns over time. The dataset now has cross-sectional information of the participants at baseline, including demographic information (age, gender, weight, height), climbing variables (years of experience, climbing level, bouldering activity percentage), specific injuries (types, locations, range of motion comparisons), lifestyle factors (alcohol, smoking, marijuana use, training participation), and climbing preferences/limitations. Additionally, we are currently collecting comprehensive health information from participants, aiming to identify common injuries, analyze risk factors, and improve safety and training protocols for Brazilian boulder climbers over the next five years, progressively updating the dataset.
