资源简介:
README Welcome to the "Do_subudcted_seamount_act_as_weak_asperities" project! This README provides an overview of the contents of the accompanying zip file and instructions on how to use them. File Description strong_seamount.cfg: This file represents the configuration for the strong seamount model in Pylith version 2.2.2. weak_seamount.cfg: This file represents the configuration for the weak seamount model in Pylith version 2.2.2. pylithapp.cfg: This file contains common parameters shared by both the strong and weak seamount models. Directories Mesh The mesh directory contains a mesh file that incorporates a region of Pacific subduction used in this study. This mesh file is essential for running the simulations with Pylith. Data The data directory contains the input data required for the simulations. It includes the following files: Rheology data (mat_*.spatialdb): This file contains information about the material properties and behavior of the subduction zone. Initial stress of fault (*_fault_slabtop_tractions.spatialdb): This file provides the initial stress distribution along the fault. Friction values (*_fault_slabtop_slipweakening.spatialdb): This file includes the friction values assigned to different regions of the model. Getting Started To use these files and run the simulations, follow these steps: Extract the contents of the zip file to a directory of your choice. Ensure that you have Pylith version 2.2.2 or a compatible version installed on your system. Modify the strong_seamount.cfg and weak_seamount.cfg files if needed, adjusting any specific parameters required for your study. If necessary, update the pylithapp.cfg file to configure additional parameters common to both models. Place the necessary input data files in the data directory. Run the Pylith simulation using the appropriate configuration file for the desired model. Feel free to explore and analyze the results obtained from the simulations to gain insights into the behavior of the subducted seamount. Additional Resources For more information on Pylith and how to use it, please refer to the official documentation and user guides provided by the Pylith development team (https://geodynamics.org/resources/pylith).
