Aggregated Cold Study (Studies 1-5)

Each of the 5 cold studies comprising the Common Cold Project was designed to address a specific set of hypotheses. However, many common variables were collected across 2 or more studies. We have created a combined data set that facilitates analyses that aggregate data across studies.The data are derived from 5 prospective viral challenge studies conducted among healthy adults (age range, 18-55): the British Cold Study (BCS, 1986-1989); the Pittsburgh Cold Study 1 (PCS1, 1993-1996); the Pittsburgh Cold Study 2 (PCS2, 1997-2001); the Pittsburgh Mind-Body Center Cold Study (PMBC, 2000-2004); and the Pittsburgh Cold Study 3 (PCS3, 2007-2011)
