Folder Structure The dataset is organized hierarchically: Scenario: The top-level folders represent different simulation scenarios, combining distance variations, traffic types, and specific energy-saving mechanisms. Distance_2TrafficTypes_BSEE: The LASMEE mechanism. Distance_2TrafficTypes_DutyCycle: Duty Cycle energy-saving mechanism. Distance_2TrafficTypes_MTCPDC: MTCPDC mechanism. Distance_2TrafficTypes_StairCase: StairCase energy-saving mechanism. Scope: Inside each scenario, data is divided into: Antenna_0: Contains metrics recorded for individual users connected to the antenna. System: Contains aggregated metrics for the entire system, categorized by traffic types. Scheduling Algorithm: Inside the scope folders, data is grouped by the scheduling algorithm used: MaxSNR: Maximum Signal-to-Noise Ratio scheduler. PF: Proportional Fair scheduler. RR: Round Robin scheduler. Load Point (Number of Users): Inside the algorithm folders, there are subfolders named with integers (e.g., 4, 8, 12, ..., 100). These represent the total number of users in the simulation for that specific run, increasing by steps of 4 up to 100. Data Files: Inside the load point folders, you will find the actual simulation output files. All files are CSVs compressed using Zstandard (.csv.zst). File Types There are two main types of files generated for each entity (User or System): *_over_time.csv.zst: Contains time-series data recorded at every simulation frame (time step). Each row corresponds to a single frame. *_mean.csv.zst: Contains the mean or aggregated values of the metrics over the entire simulation run. This file has a single row of data summarizing the run. File Naming Convention User Files (in Antenna_0): User_0X_over_time.csv.zst: Time-series metrics for User X. User_0X_mean.csv.zst: Aggregated metrics for User X. System Files (in System): System_2TrafficTypes_H_over_time.csv.zst / _mean.csv.zst: Aggregated metrics for all users with High-priority (Heavy) traffic. System_2TrafficTypes_L_over_time.csv.zst / _mean.csv.zst: Aggregated metrics for all users with Low-priority (Light) traffic. System_Global_over_time.csv.zst / _mean.csv.zst (if present): Aggregated metrics for all users in the system. Metrics (Columns) The CSV files contain various performance and energy metrics. Note that the CSV files use a semicolon (;) as the column separator. Common Metrics (in both over_time and mean files): BO: Buffer Occupancy (amount of data waiting in the queue). Input: Incoming traffic volume. Output: Successfully transmitted traffic volume. PDOR: Packet Drop Ratio. Delay: Average packet delay. Active Users: Number of active users in the system/category. Passive Energy: Energy consumed during passive/idle states. pdcch ticks, microsleep ticks, lightsleep ticks, deepsleep ticks: Time spent in various power states (PDCCH monitoring, micro sleep, light sleep, deep sleep). lightsleep ramp ticks, deepsleep ramp ticks: Time spent transitioning between sleep states. Instant Out of Delay Packets: Number of packets dropped due to exceeding their delay budget. Epsilon, Epsilon New, Epsilon Success: Parameters related to the adaptation or reinforcement learning mechanisms. Bands_cons: Energy consumption of the frequency bands. Active Bands: Number of active frequency bands. Traffic_Sensitivity: Sensitivity metric based on traffic type. Metrics specific to over_time files: BR: Bit Rate. Packet: Number of packets processed. SE: Spectral Efficiency. BU: Buffer Utilization. Output available: Available transmission capacity. NB_Band_*_Ticks: Detailed tick counters for Narrowband states (Active DL, Micro, Light Sleep, Deep Sleep, Transitions). Metrics specific to mean files: Available SE: Mean available Spectral Efficiency. Sleep Duration, Sleep Duration Std Dev: Statistics on the duration of sleep periods. B2 Sleep Duration, B3 Sleep Duration: Sleep duration statistics for specific sleep states. NB_Band_*_Percent: Percentage of time spent in various Narrowband states.
