Comparative analysis of humanized PRMT1 to mouse wild-type in vivo

PRMT1 is a key enzyme responsible for protein arginine methylation. Only a single amino acid substitution at position 179 exists between mice (histidine) and humans (tyrosine). Here, we have generated a humanized PRMT1 mouse model (huMice) in which the amino acid sequence of mouse PRMT1 is replaced with the human form. We performed bulk RNA-seq on heart and kidney tissues from humanized mice (huMice) and wild-type (WT) mice to reveal biological differences between them.
