Data for: Switchable hydrophilicity solvents in analytical chemistry. Five years of achievements

Switchable hydrophilicity solvents (SHS) began being used in analytical chemistry only in 2015, although they have been known for a long time in chemistry and technology. The advantages of this class of solvents are considered, first of all, their effectiveness in a microextraction context. SHS are well combined with chromatographic (GC-MS, HPLC-UV), spectral (AAS, UV-Vis) and even some electroanalytical (voltammetry) methods, which allows one to determine many organic and inorganic substances in various complex matrices. The chemical-analytical characteristics published over the past 5 years, methods of analysis based on the use of SHS microextraction, as well as their advantages and disadvantages are presented. Given the positive dynamics of publications with the use of SHS, we can expect further development of such methods, primarily in terms of expanding the range of defined substances, using new systems and technical solutions aimed at improving the characteristics of spectral and chromatographic methods of analysis.
