The research aims to shed light on different dimensions of reading-to-dog interventions, including the motivations and challenges and how these factors contribute to the effectiveness of promoting positive reading experiences and potentially impacting reading outcomes. Research methods will consist of semi-structured interviews with teachers/facilitators and volunteers, art-based drawing elicitation from children and a researcher's reflective journal. This data will be interpreted through a reflexive thematic analysis lens.
