Spatial distribution characteristics and interaction effects of DOM and microbial communities in kelp cultivation areas

We collected samples of surface seawater, bottom seawater and sediments in the kelp cultivation area and non-cultivation area, and analyzed and compared the samples from the two areas by 16s high-throughput sequencing. The kelp cultivation area is richer in both seawater and sediment carbon-degrading bacterial phyla.
