Forest Functions in Saxony — Documentation Areas of Historical Forest Building Forms

The data set contains the documentation areas of historical forest construction forms in the Free State of Saxony. Historical forms of forest construction (mid forest, low forest, Hutewald, Saxon Schmalkahlschlag, etc.) document old farming practices. They serve as objects of view as well as research. For each area, the geographical name of the historical forest construction form is listed. The data is used for the forest function map 1:25,000 of Saxony.
