Product water samples were collected from Jinhai Lake in 2020, which underwent precision filtration-ultrafiltration pretreatment and desalination via reverse osmosis (RO)/nanofiltration (NF) systems. The water quality reports of the product water were obtained through testing by two third-party testing institutions: the National Supervision and Inspection Center for Quality of Seawater and Brackish Water Utilization Products, and the Institute of Radiation Medicine, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The testing items include total coliforms, thermotolerant coliforms, total viable count, arsenic, cadmium, and so on.
