Kiss My Archive is a performance-based research outcome of the Staging Australian Women’s Lives: Theatre, Feminism and Socially Engaged Art research project, presented as a one-night-only live event on International Women’s Day in 2024. Developed through archival research, collective memory-work, and creative collaboration, the performance asks urgent questions of the archive itself: What is an archive? Who is included? Who decides? And who is it for? Kiss My Archive is part of Staging Australian Women’s Lives: Theatre, Feminism & Socially Engaged Art, an ARC Discovery Project (DP200102876), led by Professor Stacy Holman Jones, Professor Daniel X.
