The aim of this project has been to develop and use methods to measure the substitution level between personnel with different educational background and age in the Norwegian labour market. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Directorate of Labour.
The result of the prosject are:
- New concepts to analyze competance need and flexibility in the labour market.
- New methods to describe the connection between wage, efficiency and flexibility in the labour market.
- New data collection procedures with the aim of measure the development regarding competance need and level of substitution between different personnel. This is carried out in collaboration with the Directorate of Labour in Norway.
The project has two data sets. One of them take a look at job ads in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, and the other examine the Directorate of Labour register of job ads.
