RNA-seq of the cultured testis sample of ICR mice treated with busulfan and/or Alginate Oligosaccharides (AOS)

We profiled a RNA-seq on ICR mouse testis. We found that AOS can improve the expression of the genes important for spermatogenesis in the cultured testis. Overall design: The mice were treated with one dose of busulfan at 3 weeks of age. After two weeks, the testes were collected and cultured in the medium with or without Alginate Oligosaccharides (AOS) at concentration 10 mg/kg bodyweight (BW) or 50 mg/kg BW for 2 days (48h). Then total RNA was isoltated from the cultured testes and the cDNA library was constructed and the samples were subjected to do RNA-seq.
