This project was established to conduct a long-term evaluation of the way in which bevacizumab (Avastin) is used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer in the real world clinical setting. Bevacizumab became available under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) in July 2009. This study has access to the PBS history of all patients prescribed bevacizumab since its PBS-subsidy and has approval for annual data updates until 2016.
