HISTOMORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GLOMERULAR AND VASCULAR RENAL CHANGES IN PATIENTS WITH MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
收藏资源简介:
Myocardial infarction is frequently accompanied by systemic hemodynamic and neurohumoral disturbances that may significantly affect renal structure and function. Besides tubular injury, glomerular and vascular alterations play an important role in the development and progression of cardiorenal dysfunction. This thesis evaluates the main histomorphological changes of renal glomeruli and intrarenal vessels associated with myocardial infarction. Particular attention is paid to glomerular ischemia, capillary congestion, endothelial dysfunction, arteriolar remodeling, and sclerosis. The findings indicate that the severity of renal structural damage depends on the duration and intensity of circulatory impairment, tissue hypoxia, and chronic cardiovascular stress.
