Table 1 TMV-induced lesion number and diameter in local leaves of tobacco after 72h of treatment with SA, ASA and BzSA. Treatments were given on local leaves of tobacco plants and the lesion number and diameter were determined on the same leaves after 72 h of TMV inoculation. Tobacco leaves inoculated with TMV served as infection control. Values are means ± SD of three experiments.
