LOFAR and Borkum radar data for the June 18, 2021 thunderstorms

These files contain the data that was used to study the atmospheric conditions around small-scale, intermittent lightning discharges at the top of thunderstorms (sparkles). The data matches the case study of June 18, 2021, in the north of the Netherlands. The following types of data is included: VHF point sources (location and timing)) from the LOFAR lightning imager. The data was provided by Astron. Scans form the meteorological radar at Borkum Island (Germany). The data was provided by the Deutsche Wetterdienst (DWD)
