<i>Okamejei kenojei </i>egg case comparative morphology dataset

This dataset consists of four folders, labeled <b>Figure 2</b>, <b>Figure 3,</b> <b>Figure 4, </b>and <b>Figure 5</b>. Each folder contains subfolders or images that are labeled with lowercase letters, which correspond to the figure panel labels in the associated paper. For instance, the "a" subfolder within Figure 2 contains supporting data for panel 2a in the paper. Data within <b>Figure 2</b> pertain to the morphological characteristics of egg cases from three species of cartilaginous fish. <b>Figure 3</b> contains data on the egg-laying patterns of one group of <i>Okamejei kenojei</i> under controlled breeding conditions, with the filenames indicating the egg-laying dates; for example, the file titled "5-1" refers to eggs laid on May 1st. Data in <b>Figure 4 </b>and <b>Figure 5 </b>correspond to the anatomical and histological analyses of the egg-laying process of the <i>O. kenojei</i>. The g' scale can be referenced in the paper.
