2021-2027 Finances Detailed Planned vs Implemented (timeseries)

This financial data is based on data in the intervention field dimension transmitted by Member States under their responsibility.

This data set provides time series information on the financial implementation on the ground of shared management programmes. The data is cumulative, i.e. 2024 values included the finances implemented for 2023. Therefore the value for different reporting cycles can be compared but **MUST NOT BE AGGREGATED**.

The financial implementation data is disaggregated by fund, programme, priority axis, specific objectives and category of regions (where relevant). The data is provided by the managing authorities of the programmes regularly.

National and regional programmes report financial data to the Commission on their progress:
Planned: Total budget of the programme
Decided: Financial resources allocated to selected projects (project pipeline)
Spent: Expenditure reported by the selected projects

The financial data reporting is expressed in total costs only (i.e. not broken down by the EU or national share). Columns are added to the data to calculate the contributions by intervention field to different tracking mechanisms such as climate tracking, biodiversity, digital, UN SDGs, etc.

For Member States using flat rate technical assistance, the planned flat rate amounts have been added by teh Commission to complete the planned investments but the implementation figures (decided, spent) do not include calculated the flat rate amounts.
