资源简介:
This study comprised treatment and control groups of Penaeus monodon and Litopenaeus vannamei under mixotrophic culture system to reveal the system potentiality in Bangladesh. Three replications were taken for all the treatments and controls. Control groups contained Chaetoceros, Chlamydomonas and Artemia in the culture environment, while treatment groups additionally contained commercial probiotic in the culture environment to create optimized mixotrophy. Each culture tank contained 100 L 12 ppt natural seawater. Culture tanks were kept outdoors, covered only with small meshed net. Hatchery produced PL 9 (PL: Post larvae) stage of both shrimps were stocked at a density of 3 PL per L . They were reared for 40 days with zero water exchange. Circular mild water circulation was created, and continuous aeration was availed 24 hours during the culture period. They were fed with experimental diet that contains 35% crude protein. At the end of the experiment, shrimp were harvested to extract fresh shrimp gut microbial DNA. The extracted DNA was then analyzed through 16s metagenomics to explore the effect of optimized mixotrophy in shrimp health and gut microbiome.
