The following data set contains the temperature from WACCM-X simulation for the 2018/2019 SSW event for all levels, latitudes and longitudes. In total, there are 145 levels and the latitude x longitude grid size is 96 x 144. The data begins on 01.12.2018 and ends on 31.01.2019. The simulation has been performed by including the lunar tide at the lower boundary in WACCM-X according to the methods described in Pedatella et al., 2012 (refer to the manuscript for more details). This data set has been used to compare the WACCM-X temperature with AURA-MLS temperature observations and to calculate the SW2 and M2 tides in the MLT region.
本数据集收录了WACCM-X模式针对2018/2019年平流层突然增温(Stratospheric Sudden Warming, SSW)事件的全层级、全纬度与全经度温度模拟结果。该数据集共包含145个垂直层级,经纬度网格点数为96×144。数据的时间跨度为2018年12月1日至2019年1月31日。本次模拟参照Pedatella等人2012年发表的研究方法,在WACCM-X模式的下边界引入了太阴潮汐强迫;如需获取更多细节,可参阅相关手稿。本数据集曾被用于对比WACCM-X模拟温度与AURA-MLS卫星的温度观测数据,并用于计算中层顶区域(Mesosphere and Lower Thermosphere, MLT)的SW2与M2潮汐。
