Student Performance.dta

This data set was used to track the performance of a sample of students in Trinidad and Tobago who wrote the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) in 2008 and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certification (CSEC) examinations in 2013. Data were collected from students in forty-eight secondary schools from three randomly selected education districts in Trinidad and Tobago. Student-level variables included prior achievement (SEA test scores), secondary school achievement (CSEC grades), sex, age, socio-economic status, family structure, amount of time spent in extra lessons and extra-curricular activities. School-level variables included school-type, teacher qualifications, measures of teacher efficacy and school discipline.
