Bacterial community dynamics in oil and Corexit-amended surface water exposed to sunlight

The dataset contains the relative abundances of bacterial genera in dark and light treatments amended with oil and/or Corexit dispersant. The surface water was collected near the DWH site and incubated under the environmental conditions relevant to the northern Gulf of Mexico for 36 d. Light and dark treatments each include a control, those amended with Corexit alone, oil alone, and both oil and Corexit. Bacterial cells were collected at 0, 5, 10, 20, 27, and 36 days and analyzed by pyrosequencing. 本数据集包含添加了原油和/或Corexit分散剂的暗处理与光照处理组中细菌属的相对丰度。研究所用表层海水采集自DWH钻井平台附近海域,并在匹配墨西哥湾北部原位环境的条件下培养36天。光照与暗处理组均设置对照组,其余组别分别为仅添加Corexit分散剂组、仅添加原油组以及同时添加原油与Corexit分散剂组。分别于第0、5、10、20、27和36天采集细菌菌体,通过焦磷酸测序完成分析。本数据集相关研究成果已发表于期刊《微生物学前沿(Frontiers in Microbiology)》,论文题为《自然光塑造墨西哥湾北部表层海水降解原油的细菌群落》,DOI:10.3389/fmicb.2015.01325
