Effect of oxygen availabilities and growth rates on the transcriptomic landscape in Yarrowia lipolytica

Yarrowia lipolytica is cultivated in a continuos fermentation. Three different reactors are brought to steady state at varying growth rates (0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 h-1). Across the three growth rates, the dissolved oxygen (DO) is then changed stepwise over time. Initial values are 50% DO, followed by 25, 10, 5, 2.5 and 0.1%. After each decrease in DO value, the reactor is brought to steady state before the system is sampled. The results of the experiment is a set of 18 different experimental conditions.
