Fungal endophyte communities from inner tree bark

Study to understand the diversity and structuring of inner tree bark fungal endophytes by biotic (tree) and environmental (site) filtering. Bark collected from Manistee National Forest from five common temperate tree species: black oak (Quercus velutina), white oak (Quercus alba), red pine (Pinus resionosa), eastern white pine (Pinus strobus) and red maple (Acer rubrum).
