Cellular and Molecular Linkage between Diabetic Nephropathy and Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy are related. We used scRNA-seq and RNA-seq to analyze the cellular linkage between them. Overall design: Glomerular and retinal vascular cells of mice were isolated and analyzed using scRNAseq. Human mesangial cells (HMC) and retinal pericytes (HRPC) treated with bovine serum albumin (BSA) or advanced glycation end products (AGEs) were subjected to RNA-seq.
