Gene expression analysis in canine erythema multiforme [EM]

We performed a comparative immunology case series study of client-owned dogs to determine if immune and skin gene expression profiles in spontaneous canine erythema multiforme (EM) mirror those observed in human patients. Gene expression was analyzed using 160 custom Nanostring probes to analyze 3 canines with EM compared to 5 healthy controls (leg margin excisions).
