Banana Boat Cruise to South of Lucinda Jetty 14 February 2004

The objective of the research reported in this thesis was to develop a technique to monitor the dynamics of sediments and nutrients entering the coastal ocean with river plumes associated with high intensity low frequency events (e.g. floods), using ocean colour remote sensing. The data collected included surface salinity, turbidity, Secchi disk and meteorology parameters.本论文所报道的研究工作，旨在开发一项依托海洋水色遥感（ocean colour remote sensing）的技术，用以监测伴随高强度低频事件（如洪水）的河流羽状流（river plumes）输入至近岸海洋的沉积物与营养物动态变化。本次研究所采集的数据涵盖表层盐度、浊度、塞氏盘（Secchi disk）观测结果及各类气象参数。
