Tn-seq to identify genes required for natural transformation in Acinetobacter baylyi ADP1

The purpose of this project was to identify the genes in Acinetobacter baylyi ADP1 that are important for natural transformation. The data uploaded here are from Tn-seq experiments where sequence data represents the Tn-genomic junction. Three different sources of transforming DNA were used to select for transformants in these experiments which conferred resistance to streptomycin (Sm), rifampicin (Rif), or spectinomycin (Spec). For each, a Tn-seq sample is provided where the population was not subjected to selection (total pool) and where transformants were selected by growing the population in the appropriate antibiotic (transformant pool).
