Defined pedestrian areas along shopping precincts are core areas within the central business districts of Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Kihikihi, Ohaupo and Pirongia. A sublayer of the "Waipa District Plan - Policy Overlay Areas" layer, also available on this data portal. NOTE: This dataset can only be downloaded in a WGS 1984 projection. For accurate spatial analysis in New Zealand, ensure it is reprojected to the NZ standard projection. The Waipa District Plan was made operative on 14 August 2017 and has legal effect from this date.
