Regional crown rot management – Wongarbon

Crown rot (CR), caused predominantly by the fungus Fusarium pseudograminearum (Fp), remains a major constraint to winter cereal production in the northern grains region. Cereal varieties differ in their resistance to crown rot, which can have a significant impact on their relative yield in the presence of this disease. This experiment was one of 11 conducted by NSW DPI in 2016 across central/northern NSW extending into southern Qld; to examine the impact of crown rot on the yield and quality of four barley, three durum and 13 bread wheat varieties.

冠腐病（Crown rot, CR）主要由假禾谷镰孢（Fusarium pseudograminearum, Fp）引发，目前仍是北部谷物产区冬谷类作物生产的主要限制因素。不同谷物品种对冠腐病的抗性存在差异，该抗性差异会在病害发生时对其相对产量产生显著影响。本试验为新南威尔士州初级产业部（NSW DPI）2016年开展的11项试验之一，试验范围覆盖新南威尔士州中北部并延伸至昆士兰州南部，旨在探究冠腐病对4个大麦品种、3个硬粒小麦品种以及13个普通小麦品种的产量与品质的影响。
