Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity and other variables collected from discrete sample and profile observations during the R/V Marion Dufresne cruise OISO-01 (EXPOCODE 35MF19980121) in the Indian Ocean from 1998-01-21 to 1998-02-19 (NCEI Accession 0113570)

This NCEI Accession includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, delta C13 and delat O18 obtained during the R/V Marion Dufresne cruise OISO-01 (EXPOCODE 35MF19980121) in the Indian Ocean from 1998-01-21 to 1998-02-19. These data were collected by C. Lo Monaco of Universite Pierre et Marie Curie; Institut Pierre Simon Laplace; Laboratoire D'Oceanographie et du Climat: Experimentations et Approches Numeriques and Nicolas Metzl of Universite Pierre et Marie Curie; Laboratoire de Biogeochimie et Chimie Marines as part of the CLIVAR_OISO01 data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
