Replication Dataset for "From Scientific Priority to Institutional Commitment: CERN's Future Circular Collider in Historical Perspective"

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “From Scientific Priority to Institutional Commitment: CERN’s Future Circular Collider in Historical Perspective.” It contains the structured research materials used for the documentary and historical analysis: a 31-document contemporary policy corpus inventory, document-level coding matrix, analytical codebook, mechanism definitions, strength-classification rules, claim–evidence audit trail, source-provenance register, and historical triangulation sources. The dataset does not redistribute third-party source documents; instead, it provides bibliographic metadata and persistent URLs/DOIs to the original sources. The analytical corpus was frozen to information available by 21 July 2026. Access dates after that date reflect bibliographic and link verification only. The files are intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and independent scrutiny of the analysis.
