CHI3L1 (Chitinase-3-like protein 1), also known as YKL-40, has been associated with inflammation and cancer. Transcription profiling analysis was performed in FTC-133 thyroid cancer cells transfected with control siRNA or siRNAs against CHI3L1. Overall design: CHI3L1 expression was knocked-down in FTC-133 cells. RNA was extracted from cells transfected with control siRNA or siRNAs against CHI3L1 and submitted to RNA sequencing.
